- Connect with the Statewide Action Planning Group ambassadors about local concerns on an on-going basis
- Provide input on the HIV related issues at a local HIV Community Planning Network meeting in your region
- Participate in surveys and provide input about local interests and needs to inform the Statewide Action Planning Group prior to regional meetings

Statewide Action Planning Group may be right for the person who can
- Actively participate in each of the 5 1½ day meetings in various locations throughout the state
- Commit to a three year term as a Statewide Action Planning Group ambassador
- Participate in at least one existing local dialogue group such as an AIDS Task Force, social network group, consumer advisory board, etc.
- Prepare meeting by:
- reading meeting announcements, agendas, and other materials before the meetings
- completing homework tasks assigned to ambassadors
