Wisconsin 2008 Annual Progress Report, PA 04012
This document summarizes the cumulative efforts of over thirty provider agencies in Wisconsin, including
city and county health departments, AIDS service organizations and community-based organizations.
Over $4 million in combined federal and local funding supported 2008 prevention activities and their
coordination. In 2008, HIV prevention efforts reached thousands of Wisconsin residents, the majority of
whom were at increased risk for HIV infection. The activities presented in this report are a testament to
the dedication of the project staff, contractors and volunteers. These individuals provided countless hours
of service and support to the shared mission of preventing HIV infection and assisting those living with
HIV. |

2008 Quality Management Plan for Care & Treatment Services
This Quality Management Plan was developed by the Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Program and the SAPG Quality Management Committee to describe the quality management infrastructure and quality assurance roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders involved in the delivery and receipt of care and treatment services in Wisconsin. The plan covers only those services funded by the Ryan White Part B and Life Care Services grants.

Breaking Through the Silence: Key Issues and Recommendatins for Addressing HIV/AIDS Among Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States
Jointly developed by the National Alliance of State & Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) and the Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), this document specifically identifies key issues and recommendations that health departments and others can undertake to address the growing impact of HIV/AIDS among Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.
Recommendations in the report include:
Strengthening data collection and reporting efforts;
Increasing health department and community awareness of the Asian American,
Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities and their HIV prevention
needs;
Considering opportunities to increase prioritization of Asian American, Native
Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities; and
Increasing the capacity of health departments and community based organizations
to address the HIV prevention needs of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and
Pacific Islander communities.
