Act Against AIDS: 9 1/2 Minutes
April 7, 2009: The White House launched a five-year push to educate Americans about HIV/AIDS's prevalence within the U.S., with a communications strategy centered on alerting people to the statistic that every 9 1/2 minutes, someone in the U.S. becomes infected with HIV.

Life Care Services and Early Intervention
HIV Life Care Services and Early Intervention are two programs for persons living with HIV disease. They are funded by the Division of Public Health with state general purpose revenue (GPR) dollars and are operated by AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs). The Division contracts with ASOs to provide these programs directly or through subcontracts with other community service providers in their respective regions.
