Our Mission
The mission of the Wisconsin HIV/AIDS Training System is to provide statewide coordination of HIV/AIDS training, education and information to increase the capacity of organizations and individuals to prevent HIV transmission in populations at highest risk.
Our Structure
The Wisconsin HIV/AIDS Training System is managed through the University of Wisconsin-Madison and reflects a partnership between the Wisconsin AIDS/HIV Program and the Department of Professional Development and Applied Studies at UW-Madison.
Our Services
The Wisconsin HIV/AIDS Training System serves prevention and care service providers, program managers, local public health providers, HIV case managers, Wisconsin HIV Community Planning Network and others committed to HIV/AIDS.
Sponsor Training Events -- Workshops and courses are designed to meet the needs of individuals and organizations to provide effective HIV/AIDS prevention and care services.
Provide Training Information -- The Training Calendar provides information about upcoming workshops and conferences related to HIV/AIDS prevention and care in Wisconsin and nationally.
Throughout the year, health departments, community-based organizations, faith organizations, and other groups and individuals participate in annual national and global awareness days to address the HIV/AIDS pandemic. We hope the information on this website will help you to educate, motivate, and mobilize your local community in the fight against HIV/AIDS!
